The Turkey Drive will benefit the Open Door Community Food Ministry’s Holiday Food Box Distribution.
Make someone’s holiday special by helping us raise $20,000 in November to purchase the extra side items needed for a Thanksgiving Holiday meal. To drop off side items, please go to the food drop-off location on the date and time listed below. In past years, Open Door has provided a Holiday Food Box to 3,700 households in our community, estimating 12,500 individuals.

Families Served in Community Food Program
- For the year of 2024, a total of 28,610 food boxes were served to families.
- 7,020 unduplicated families/17,113 individuals were served in 2024.
- 2024 Turkey Drive provided 3,530 households/10,705 individuals with Holiday Food boxes, as we partnered with the Kansas Food Bank, Wichita Public School District, Cargill, UMB Bank, INTRUST Bank and the community to collect food and raise funds to support our Holiday distribution.
